Tricia Kay’s Blog: Wisdom from Experience-Kavanaugh Accusation, What The Public Is Missing

Media Misleading the Public by Withholding Information: Demanding FBI Investigation on Possible Wrongly Accused

After Thursday’s Judiciary Committee Hearing of Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the public remains as confused as they were before the hearing. Media coverage is not helping the situation.

Reports revealed late Wednesday night that two men were stepping forward and taking responsibility for the accusations against Kavanaugh, saying that they believe that they were the ones who were with Ford during the incident she described. Without an investigation into these men and their claims, Kavanaugh will remain the assumed culprit.

Senator Flake made the request to withhold the vote on Kavanaugh and that the FBI be ordered to investigate Kavanaugh. This is exactly what a handful of Democratic Senators have attempted to do since before Ford or any other accusers had come forward with their accusations.

In June, Senator Feinstein, with a little more than four months to go before the Nov. 6 midterm elections, requested a delay to replace SCOTUS Kennedy by saying,

“There should be no consideration of a Supreme Court nominee until the American people have a chance to weigh in, [after November mid-terms]” said Feinstein, ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, which holds confirmation hearings on court nominees. “Leader McConnell set that standard in 2016 when he denied Judge Garland a hearing for nearly a year, and the Senate should follow the McConnell Standard.”

She, along with other Democrat Senators have since made such demands, calling for delay during the months of July, August, and September. With the recent revelation of Ford and other Kavanaugh accusers, one has to wonder…were these accusations, in fact, a Democratic ruse to force the hand of the Senate and delay a new SCOTUS confirmation?

Take into consideration that the main accusation has gone unproven even though the event has been both thoroughly and publicly testified about. There have been six FBI investigations into Kavanaugh and the accusation had not been found until Senator Feinstein, herself released Mrs. Ford’s letter to the Judiciary Committee. This accusation would come into play merely 3 ½ weeks before the mid-term election that Feinstein herself had previously requested a SCOTUS replacement delay to Judiciary Committee.

No one is claiming Dr. Ford’s experience of abuse did not happen, we only want an investigation into all aspects of this fiasco.

The men who claim it was them, not Kavanaugh, who were with Ford that night should be investigated. Feinstein, along with the Democrats who are aiding her in publicizing the accusation, also need to be investigated over their involvement with Ford since the letter was first received and revealed by Feinstein. The attorneys coaching Ford, during Thursday’s testimonial Committee hearing, should also be investigated along with their involvement with Democrats such as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who handed Ford’s attorney an envelope that was quickly pocketed by said attorney.

Edit: As of late Friday afternoon, President Trump has requested the FBI investigation into Kavanaugh as well and, if we are going to have the FBI investigate one of those involved in the Kavanaugh hearing…all involved should also be investigated. This is the only way to assure 100% fairness throughout this historical moment.
